NBA schedule release 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream

The NBA is set to unveil the 2015-16 regular season schedule with a TV special Wednesday night.
NBA fans anxiously awaiting the beginning of next season will get some crumbs Wednesday night with a one-hour special on NBA TV to unveil the 2015-16 regular season schedule. The program, which is set to air at 6 p.m. ET, will set the stage as the league unveils the biggest games on the 30 teams' respective 82-game slates.

Taking a page from the NFL, the NBA began doing a special for the release of its regular season schedule last year. It appears that was well-received because the league is doing the same again this year to get fans excited about another season of hoops.

The special obviously won't be able to delve into hundreds of games over just 60 minutes, but we should hear about tons of marquee matchups, including some season openers and the schedule for Christmas Day. We've already seen some reported information on the schedule, including a Warriors-Pelicans season opener on Oct. 27 at Oracle Arena, but Wednesday night should give us much more to talk about.

The 2015-16 season will once again be broadcast across ESPN, ABC, TNT and NBA TV before the league's new television contract goes into effect next year. Another change to this year's schedule is ABC adding several Saturday night games to its slate in addition to its usual Sunday afternoon broadcasts.
