Roberto Firmino is pushing to make his first Liverpool start but Brendan Rodgers is likely to name an unchanged side from the victory at Stoke.

Philippe Coutinho celebrates

Joe Allen (hamstring) has joined long-term absentees Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan on the treatment table.
Eddie Howe could hand summer signing Tyrone Mings his Bournemouth debut at the expense of Charlie Daniels.
Harry Arter and loanee Christian Atsu are still nursing injuries and are unlikely to feature.

MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Steve Bower: "This is a game where Bournemouth will realise they have really arrived in the Premier League.
"As their opening-day defeat reminded them, to get any kind of result at Anfield they will have to convert any chances that come their way.

"When speaking to Brendan Rodgers after their win at Stoke, he reiterated how much defensive work they have done during the summer, an area which so often let them down last season.
"They looked stronger at the Britannia and they will be determined not to drop any early season points, particularly with some tricky fixtures on the horizon."

LAWRO'S PREDICTION

"Bournemouth are still finding out the difference between the Premier League and the Championship and this is going to be a tough evening for them. Cherries boss Eddie Howe likes everyone to bomb on and get forward and cause problems down the other end but is he going to go to Anfield and play that way? That would be very brave if he does."
Lawro v BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Mark Radcliffe

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "Firmino is building up his fitness really well. He's a guy that helps himself because he trains to the maximum every single day and he's coming along very, very well.
"He's a good guy as well and every aspect of life here in Liverpool, he's thrown himself into - both football and language. He is working very, very hard and he's getting close."
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "Our aim is not to outplay Liverpool, or outpass Liverpool, or any nonsense like that. Our aim is to try and win the game.
"Then how we do that, and how you go about best doing that, that is down to how you see the game, so it's not a competition on passes, it's a competition on winning the game.
"The football really is irrelevant, it's about finding a way to be competitive."
