There are only five players who aren't in uniform for pregame warmups: Tom Brady, Brandon LaFell, Brandon King, Marcus Cannon and Bryan Stork.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Lindley took the field without Tom Brady, so it looks like Brady exited stage right earlier in the night.

Third-stringer Ryan Lindley will get the start at quarterback tonight, according to CSNNE. This is a surprise, but Bill Belichick is clearly treating this as a meaningless preseason game just a week before the title defense begins. That should mean Lindley will play wire to wire because the Pats want Jimmy Garoppolo to get the night off.

Starters might not even be in the building
I was told Bill Belichick has given some of his starters permission to watch the game from home, so we'll see if the guys who got the night off are even in the building for kickoff.

Quarterback Tom Brady and a number of starters won't be playing tonight, according to sources, so he'll have to soak in the atmosphere from the sidelines. Judging by the way the reaction has gone today, it should be as crazy of an environment as one could expect out of a fourth preseason game. And just wait for a week from tonight.
