Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 12th goal of the season as La Liga leaders Real Madrid stretched their unbeaten start to 12 games with a win at Celta Vigo.

Real went three points clear as their all-time leading scorer found the net in the eighth minute with a low shot.

Brazilian defender Danilo made it two, before Celta's Gustavo Cabral was sent off after 57 minutes for picking up a second yellow card.
Nolito pulled one back before Marcelo scored a stoppage-time third.
Two goals in the opening 23 minutes put Real in command against the hosts who went into the game in second place in the league.

Ronaldo was given time and space in the area to open the scoring with a right-foot shot after good work by Lucas.
Danilo scored his first goal since a £23m summer move from Porto with a right-foot finish following good approach play from Jese.

Celta's hopes of a comeback suffered a blow when Cabral, who had been booked for a first-half foul, was sent off following a second caution.
Nolito's right-foot effort halved the deficit with five minutes remaining.
Marcelo restored the two-goal advantage from close range in the fifth minute of stoppage time to inflict a first defeat of the season on Celta.
Barcelona can move level on points with Real at the top if they beat Eibar at home on Sunday.
Elsewhere, French striker Kevin Gameiro scored a hat-trick as Sevilla beat 10-man Getafe 5-0.
