Eagles to hit Mbabane, Ouagadougou with charter flights-Pinnick

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has disclosed that she is working on a plan that will see both the home based Eagles and the main team travel with charter flights to their away games in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and Mbabane, Swaziland.

The home Eagles with a relatively comfortable 2-0 home advantage secured last weekend in Port Harcourt will face the Stallions this weekend in Ouagadougou in a CHAN 2016 Nations Cup championship decider, while the main Eagles would do Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier battle against Swaziland in Mbabane, early next month.
President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick told Daily Sunsports yesterday that he is doing all he could to see that both teams honor the games comfortably, even as he raised the alarm over the high cost involved.

“My biggest worry is the money needed to fly to the two venues. The cost of chartering an aircraft is quite massive and we don’t want our teams to face unnecessary hassles to honor games. We are going to do our best to make them comfortable as we go away,” Pinnick said.
He pointed out that the home Eagles would need to do a stop  over in Abidjan if they are to fly into Ouagadougou by commercial flight, while flying to Mbabane may even be more stressful  for Sunday Oliseh and his boys if there is no charter flight.
