Hatem Ben Arfa scores great solo goal to help Nice to victory

Hatem Ben Arfa

Former Newcastle midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa scored a dazzling solo goal to become joint Ligue 1 top scorer as his side Nice recorded a 4-1 win at Rennes.
Ben Arfa, 28, grabbed his seventh this season when he ran on to the ball, entered the area, sold a dummy to a defender and fired in an angled shot.
It gave Nice a 2-0 lead, who went on to record their fifth league win and move into fifth in the French top flight.
Rennes, meanwhile, move down to seventh in the table.

The goal saw Ben Arfa join Marseille's Michy Batshuayi at the top of the scoring charts.
Ben Arfa came into wider prominence when he signed for Newcastle initially on loan in the summer of 2010. His move became permanent in January 2011.
The France international's time at St James' Park was a mixture of brilliant individual goals - against Blackburn, Bolton, Everton and Fulham - and reports of being a disruptive influence in the squad.
He was sent on loan to Hull, but he infuriated manager Steve Bruce who claimed the midfielder was "a dreadful waste of real talent".
Ben Arfa was eventually released from his contract by Newcastle in January 2015, and picked up by Ligue 1 side Nice in the same month.
