Josh Scobee's wife tells SF Sports ... she's confident the Pittsburgh Steelers kicker will weather the storm after missing 2 key field goals Thursday night ... saying, "He has a strong faith in God."
Scobee's been catching hell from hardcore Steelers fans -- including Snoop Dogg -- who are calling for his job after missing 2 crucial kicks in the 4th quarter, opening the door for the Ravens to come back and win the game.
Melissa Scobee tells us she and her husband are still "waiting to see what the team is going to do" ... and says Thursday's game was "definitely the toughest of his career."
