At a time some state governors are finding it difficult to meet financial obligations of clubs featuring in the Nigerian Premier League, the management of Eunisell Limited, the official shirt sponsors of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, has dangled financial incentives on the players as a way of motivating the Blue Angels.

Sharks FC seems to have escaped the relegation zone, but Eunisell Limited says the cash incentive for every match the club win, will ginger them to put in their best.
Speaking with The Guardian yesterday, the Communications Manager of Eunisell Limited, Kunmi Balogun, hinted that the players would get ‘reasonable’ cash prizes for every goal they score in the Nigerian Premier League.


Though, Balogun did not disclose how much the players will receive, he said the package will go a long way in assisting them.

“We will handsomely reward each goal scorer and any other teammate that makes the assist with cash prizes,” Balogun said. “This is in line with our resolve to help grow the Nigerian League and make football in the country become a lucrative sports and career for the players.”
He added that the cash reward is to ensure that the Sharks FC stay focused, having succeeded in leaving the bottom four position after a 1-0 defeat of their local rival, Dolphins FC, two weeks ago in the Garden City.
