Who owns Manchester?

Manchester United face Manchester City in the derby at Old Trafford on Sunday, with local pride and a place at the top of the Premier League at stake.
United are back at Old Trafford after three successive away games for the 170th derby clash with neighbours Manchester  City,  with          the sides     separated   by   two       points in  the  Barclays  Premier League’s top three ahead of the match. Both home teams claimed the bragging rights in last season’s meetings, with United ending a run of four consecutive derby defeats thanks to a 4-2 win in April.

United are searching for a fifth straight home win in all competitions and can go above current leaders City with three points on Sunday. After easing past Everton last weekend, the Reds needed a second-half header from Anthony Martial to rescue a draw in Moscow on Wednesday night in the Champions League, while City came from behind to beat Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium to clinch a fourth successive victory since losing 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur.

United are likely to be without the injured James Wilson, Ashley Young and Paddy McNair, alongside long-term absentee Luke Shaw. Michael Carrick, Juan Mata, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay could earn recalls after sitting on the bench in midweek. City are without top scorer Sergio Aguero and Samir Nasri with hamstring injuries, while Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph are also expected to be ruled out again. Captain Vincent Kompany is still a fitness doubt despite returning from a calf injury against Sevilla as a late substitute but David Silva may return after a two-game absence with ankle and foot problems.
