WHO failed to deliver? Who’s hurt? Who’s pushing for selection. Your complete guide to every AFL club’s progress ahead of Round 4.

ON THE BLOCK: Not too many names to throw up here after an excellent team performance against Melbourne at the Adelaide Oval, in which Adelaide applied 108 tackles. However if the Crows are to put someone under the microscope at the selection table this week, it’s Charlie Cameron. The small forward kicked a goal in the first quarter but cost his team another one in the third term due to a turnover at half-back. He was subbed out at three quarter-time with just three disposals.

ON THE CUSP: The Crows’ SANFL team went down by 29 points to West Adelaide, yet were well served by plenty of senior-listed players. First-round draftee Jake Lever was voted his team’s best, providing aggressive rebound from the backline with 15 disposals. Jarryd Lyons (two goals, 28 disposals and five clearances), Matt Crouch (28 disposals and five clearances) and Mitch Grigg (20 disposals) all impressed during their stints in the midfield.

BEN WATERWORTH’S FORECAST: A third-straight win ensured the Crows remained in top spot on the ladder for the second straight week. They are hungry and playing inspired footy, led by the brilliant midfield brigade in Rory Sloane and Patrick Dangerfield. But how much longer can they maintain their ferocious intensity? Phil Walsh’s men take on the Bulldogs on Sunday in what is sure to be a fast, entertaining contest at Etihad Stadium. They’ll be tested by the Dogs, but you’d think their bigger bodies would ensure victory. You’d think.
