Parma: Trophies won by bankrupt former Serie A club up for auction

Parma winning the Uefa cup in 1999

Trophies won by former Serie A side Parma have been put up for auction  after the club went bankrupt.
Creditors on behalf of the defunct club are selling a number of lots including Uefa Cups won in 1995 and 1999, three Copa Italia trophies, a Cup Winners' Cup and a European Supercup.
Other lots include the Parma FC trademark, gym equipment and furniture.

Parma went bankrupt in March with more than 200m euros (£143m) debt, although they were allowed to finish the season.

The club, who were relegated from Serie A last season, failed to find a buyer prepared to pay 22.6m euros (£16.2m) to take on the club.
A new Parma football club Parma Calcio 1913 will begin the season in Serie D.
The items are listed on the website fallimentiparma.com  by administrators Angelo Anedda and Alberto Guiotto, and all bids must be received by 11 September.
