GOLDEN Eaglets Coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, has said he is not under any
form of pressure ahead of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup holding in Chile
next month. He declared that his players are fully prepared to defend
the trophy they won in United Arab Emirates two years ago.
Amuneke said his boys have been going through practical and
theoretical lessons to keep them in good shape for the battle of Chile.
He noted that his major target was to ensure the Eaglets win their group
matches, adding that it would go a long way in motivating them to give
their best in the second round of the tournament.
Amuneke further said that the team would soon depart for a training
tour in Argentina, assuring that all hands are on deck to make sure they
excel in the FIFA World Cup.
I am not under pressure. Golden Eaglets are in high spirit ahead of
the world Cup. I have been giving the boys practical and theoretical
lessons to assist them get enough confidence to confront their
opponents. The final list of players will soon be released for the
championship and only the best will make it to Chile,” he said.
